Vospers
Vospers is the region’s premier car sales group and brought a selection of new cars from across its stable of marques, which includes Ford, Peugeot, Renault, Nissan, Fiat, Abarth, Mazda and Alfa Romeo.
Vospers also brought their Abarth and Nissan hospitality rigs, with the famous Abarth Stunt Plane making a breathtaking appearance over the weekend.

4×4 off-road driving
In conjunction with Land Rover Experience Westcountry and Roger Young Land Rover, we were delighted to offer 4×4 demonstrations and an opportunity to drive them around the Pentillie Estate.
With the latest Land Rover and Range Rover models on offer, the grounds at Pentillie Castle presented a formidable challenge for the off-road vehicles.

Forster Racing
Forster Racing School was created by Leo Forster after a decade of teaching motorsport and following five British titles in Racing. Leo wanted to allow other to feel real high powered Motorsport and was tired of racing centers simply offering customers an experience. Using the highly agile and powerful Rage Buggies capable of 0-60 in under 4 seconds on dirt, Leo started the school teaching precision driving in the 300bhp/tonne monsters.
At the Pentillie Festival of Speed Forster Racing School gave spectators the opportunity to sit next to Leo or one of his team and experience World Rally Car performance at the hands of a professional driver.

Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth
Visitors to the 2012 Pentille Festival of Speed found that Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth certainly fired on all cylinders when it came to its power-packed display.
Plymouth’s official Mercedes-Benz Retailer showcased six of the manufacturer’s most exciting models, including three phenomenal, V8-engined AMG variants. Taking centre stage was the 197mph AMG SLS ‘Gullwing’ Coupé, while showgoers also enjoyed examples of the C 63 AMG, E 63 AMG, new B-Class and the just-launched C-Class AMG Sport Plus.

Giant Scalextric
Many tried their hand at Scalextric with this unique giant 6-lane track. Most people are used to playing on a 2-lane track, so this was something completely different!
Simulators
It’s as close as you’ll get to the real thing.
Children (and adults!) put their Formula One driving skils to the test in this simulator and two other linked chassis simulators Visitors could also try two Moto GP simulators allowing them to race head to head.
South West Lotus Centre
South West Lotus Centre is a family run, performance car garage trading for 35 years. We are an independent Lotus Specialist and authorised Noble Service Agent and attended the show to demonstrate our services and equipment.
The Centre brought the latest Lotus Evora S, a Noble M400, Lotus Exige, Lotus Esprit, a totally restored 1961 Corvette and a number of performance cars.

Dave Naylor – Scalextric Display
Having collected Scalextric since a young boy in the 60s, Dave’s collection is now in excess of 250 vehicles, comprising of cars, artic-lorries, trucks, police, motorbikes and side cars. Dave also has many of the buildings that have been released by Scalextric over the years, as well as all the Scalextric catalogues made since they started in 1957.
JD Racing
JD Racing are a small family run business located on the Devon/Cornwall border near Plymouth. They are a solus KTM dealer selling KTM Motorbikes, “On” and “Off” road models. They also have a large range of second-hand stock. JD Racing attended the event with a range of display bikes.

Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club
Sporting trials take place off road, in very steep muddy fields and woodland. The aim of a sporting trial is to progress as far through a section of course as possible before either stopping or hitting a course marker.The cars were on display throughout the event, navigating the steep Pentillie paddock, demonstrating the cars and drivers skill on the almost impossible terrain.
