Pentillie Festival of Speed 2012

Grandstand Seating

To ensure ample spectating opportunities on one of the trickiest corners of the Pentillie Festival of Speed hillclimb  grandstand seating was located at the formidable Cherry Pie corner.

Cherry Pie corner gets its name from its history as a cherry tree orchard within the Pentillie Estate. When the road was constructed through the orchard, the camber was built to ensure good water run-off. This camber has resulted in a restricted view of the road when driving, especially at speed, making it a real challenge for the vehicles racing at the event.

Not only giving spectators a fantastic view of the racing, this was one of the only seated areas with a good view of the track.

Tickets for the grandstand can be purchased from the Pentillie FoS merchandise stand at the event itself. Once a ticket has been purchased you will be free to use the grandstand area throughout the day for which that ticket has been purchased.
